Choosing which direction to take after leaving school is a big decision. We’re here to support our students and make sure they know about all the options open to them.
The careers curriculum at Manor House School includes explaining a range of different job opportunities and practising required skills:
- Interviewing to develop personal skills
- Career pathways including understanding options such as college, work experience and apprenticeships
- Employability skills, students develop communication skills, team work, taking responsibility and personal organisation
- Students put these skills into practise with skills such as CV writing and interview techniques. students become familiar with key information regarding careers information and networking
